CHRONIC INSOMNIA

Issue # 99 Two Fat Sows?
Download this episode (79 min)
Chances are if you are listening to this show you have heard our lack luster 2nd Anniversary show and we want to thank you for sticking around. Issue # 99 comes on the eve of our greatest achievement. Our 2nd anniversary show might have meant something on a calendar, but the 100th show is going to be that much more special.
This week Ryan talks about a prostitute who works for food. Mike discusses his shame over Quiet Riots commercial success and overall we talk a lot about Comic Books, go figure.
We continue our ongoing crossover with our friends from the Canadian radio show "Where Monsters Dwell". Will Ryan's "Impalement" prove to be too much for his fat bloated body? Mike continues to lose weight at a snails pace, or has he? Tune in to find out.
Check out our new intro song written and performed by Mike himself. It might not be the next "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant" but it's still a song, so he's got that going for him.

Chronic Insomnia - Episode # 98
2nd anniversary special!
How does the World's Worst Comic Book Podcast celebrate two years of existence? By producing the worst show in its history, of course!
Full disclosure? This one got away from us. Somewhere in this disjointed mess are a few laughs and some closet classic bits not heard since year one. And we saved comics last week in "Epic Fail", so we get a mulligan, right? Please?
In this episode:
Manatee Weight Loss 2009 suffers a catastrophic setback!
Robert Kirkman hits Marvel where it hurts!
Chew - its not just for rednecks any more!
Ryan's first crack at "Pop Quiz"!
Classic Chronic Bits from the days of yore!
Ryan
Do you ever feel as though you've ridden in on a short bus? This weeks show is a testament to how derailed things can get when Ryan and I both suffer from the effects of "Chronic Insomnia". Ryan's had four hours of sleep and I've been sleeping five hours a night for the past six years. At some point things have got to give and with this weeks show we finally hear that one thing snap. It falls with a dull thud and spins our once timed and segmented show into something which makes very little sense.
We play a game of "fake porn title or not" which had little to no research involved with it, but it was still fun. Ryan was nearly perfect in knowing which ones I made up and which ones I found online.
Enjoy the show and we love the all of you?

This week marks a landmark in Chronic Insomnia history. Well actually it really doesn't. It's a normal week for us and we get to a lot of things comic book related. Is Captain America #600 really worth the wait? Well we tell you all about it.
Manatee Weight Loss is still in full swing and tonight we find out just how much more Ryan has lost in the past week. Is our Chia Shrek in danger of being taken away from us by some Canadian? I think not. Ryan's off to a big start and Remy's eating Chocolate Pop Tarts.
Michael takes another quiz that Ryan came up with. This time it's on our greatest American Hero, Captain America. How will Mike do? Well download the show and find out.
Our sponsor is back with a huge contract and some great new commercials for us to run on our show. Check out our new friends at Where Monsters Dwell and support their show. Honestly it's better than ours and because we're all one big happy podcasting family.

Do we have secret audio of David Carradine in his last few moments of life? I think we’ll let you decide. Mike thinks of a new way that Ryan can lose an extra few pounds by shaving a personal part of his body. But if Ryan can’t reach who’s gonna help him out? Listen and find out.
We are a little off the rails this week and things get even more messy as we break out the shaver. This week is some kind of awesome as far we are concerned. Listen how much we love “Where Monsters Dwell” and how much Ryan wants to beat Remy in this years “Manatee Weight Loss Challenge”. Will Remy get the Chia Pet? I guess we’re going to find out in a few months.

This week on Chronic Insomnia we have the visitor of visitors stop by and give us an explanation as to what he's been doing these past eons. Near the end of the interview we win him over with our charm and sophistication and he adds us to his Facebook page. He's a rather popular person.
Ryan gets the gauntlet thrown down to him by Remy from "Where Monsters Dwell" and he accepts the challenge. We offer up a huge prize if Remy ends up beating him by Labor Day. Or Labour Day for those of you in Canada.
Mike has troubles with his bowels AGAIN, isn't this getting old? Well it would get old to normal people, but since we are 12 years old mentally, it's still pretty damn disgusting and funny. We can't help our vulgarity on this weeks show. Check out the end of the show this week for a top secret REDUX of our semi-famous Star Wars bit.

Chronic Insomnia has moved to a pay site due the lack of service MyPodcast.com pays it's customers. We have been unable to upload a show for nearly 12 days with NO RESPONSE from the management at MyPodcast.com. Please check out http://chronicinsomnia.podbean.com/ and switch your subscriptions and or downloads to the new site. We will continue to use MyPodcast.com for the near future since it is free and costs us nothing to keep it going. However if you have a problem with MyPodcast.com and still want to get our show go to http://chronicinsomnia.podbean.com/ and you will find the site WORKING. We've had enough of MyPodcast.com and so should ALL of it's podcasters.
We just haven't had enough of that most famous of nectars, so we had to record another show on the DNA you clean up with a T-Shirt. So grab your black light and check for stains on your roommates sheets, it's time for another sophisticated and vulgar episode of Chronic Insomnia.
Check out our new sponsor, Jizaflow. It's a miracle they came on board at the right moment, especially since we had our mouths open at that very moment. So we took the shot right in the eye and welcomed them to our show.
Also check out Ryan's new song called, "Never gonna spit you out". It's the perfect song to play to your shy and humble lover. Let's spread the man butter around and get down to the salty brine and talk about comic books.

How gross can we get this week? Well pretty gross actually. We're back to our sophisticated and stylish ways. It's time for us to prove once again that we are the "podcast your momma warned you about." Don't let the title fool you, it is that disgusting. Mike asks Ryan the hard hitting question and we get an honest response.
What do Bert and Ernie do when they aren't entertaining the youth of America? We also got our hands on a rare episode of the original Star Trek series when Roddenberry tried his hand at a Marvel cross-over. It didn't work out so well for all involved.
We've eaten all the pineapple we can to cut down on the acidity, but we still come off as a little fishy tasting. So hold the back of your own head and get ready for a giant load of a show.
We love the all of you.
We want to wish our friends at "Where Monsters Dwell" a safe return to the radio in Canada. Good luck!
The Chronic Crew
PS - Check out our new home here at http://chronicinsomnia.podbean.com/ We've given up on MYPODCAST.COM complete and have decided to go to a more reliable site to host our podcast. Please convert or switch your download/subscription to the NEW site at Podbean.
Thank you so much, The Chronic Crew
